 EASTER SATURDAY, 4TH APRIL

In an attempt to ease the pressure/demand on our local A&E Department at The Princess Alexandra Hospital over the Bank Holiday weekend, The Ross Practice will be open for EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS ONLY between the hours of 9.00am to 12 noon.

On Easter Saturday, please telephone the practice on our usual number 01279 215354 and a receptionist will take your call. At the request of the duty doctor on call, you will be asked to inform the receptionist the nature of your emergency and will then be given a time to attend the surgery.

As availability will be limited, we ask you not to abuse this service and only contact us if it is a true medical emergency. Once appointment availability has been taken, you will be asked to contact 111 as usual. We will not be taking requests for home visits; our reception team will direct you to 111.

The reception team will not be dealing with any routine enquiries/requests. They will ask you to kindly contact the surgery on the Tuesday morning.
